• Granby's Solar Plan Is Taking A Different Turn (patch.com) — Granby officials are shelving a long-discussed solar-canopy project after new financial analysis showed it would take 16 years to break even, instead pursuing energy-efficiency upgrades at 10 town and school buildings. The town will seek bids and up to $2 million in zero-interest financing for insulation, window and door replacements, and HVAC improvements, with the Board of Selectmen set to review the plan Monday night.
