The Granby Education Foundation (GEF) is pleased to present
Grammy award-winner Paul Winter in concert with pianist Jeff Holmes on Friday,
November 15th, 7:30pm, at Granby Memorial High School in Granby, CT.
Paul Winter has spent a lifetime exploring the music of the world. From his college days as the leader of a jazz sextet to his later work with the Paul Winter Consort, the saxophonist and composer has aspired to bridge the cultures of the world through music. Jeff Holmes, Professor of Music and Director of Jazz and African-American Music Studies at the University of Massachusetts, is a pianist, composer, arranger and trumpeter.
This charitable event will benefit the GEF Arts Endowment, a special fund that enriches the lives of area residents by supporting artistic initiatives that expose the community to exemplary works of art.
Tickets go on sale October 15th through Granby Pharmacy and the GEF website www.granbyeducationfoundation.org. $20.00 in advance, $25.00 at the door.
