Pediatric Doctors Open New Practice

Team of West Hartford primary care doctors specialize in a variety of issues including breastfeeding, ADHD, sleep issues, foster children and adolescent care.

A group of West Hartford doctors specializing in pediatric and adolescent medicine recently opened a new primary care practice at 705 Bloomfield Avenue, Suite 101 in Bloomfield.

Dr. Carolyn Ganeles, Dr. Scott Kallor and Dr. Janice Lopez attend to children of all ages and each specialize in a variety of issues.

Carolyn Ganeles, M.D. attended Brandeis University and Albert Einstein School of Medicine and then completed her pediatric residency training at Albert Einstein/Montefiore Medical Center.  Dr. Ganeles has been a practicing primary care pediatrician in Connecticut since 1997.  Dr. Ganeles has special interests in adolescent care, breastfeeding, and ADHD.  

Scott Kallor, D.O. attended Clark University and Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine before completing his pediatric residency training at Maimonides Infant and Children’s Hospital. Dr. Kallor has been a practicing primary care pediatrician in Connecticut since 2004. Dr. Kallor has special interests in preventable infectious diseases, working with first time parents, and sleep issues.

Janice Lopez, M.D. attended Cornell University and the University of Massachusetts Medical School and completed her pediatric residency training at Massachusetts General Hospital.  Dr. Lopez practiced as a primary care pediatrician in Massachusetts from 1994 to 2000, and has practiced in Connecticut since 2000.  Dr. Lopez has special interests in the care of foster children, skin conditions, and adolescent care.

Dr. Ganeles, Dr. Kallor and Dr. Lopez said they are excited to begin their partnership and aim to provide high quality, up to date and personal care to families. 

The new office will have easy access to the Greater Hartford area and ample parking. Pediatric Partners will implement the latest technology, with a website, electronic medical records and the roll-out of a patient access computer portal, to enhance care and communication.

The physicians of Pediatric Partners will attend newborns at Hartford Hospital and Saint Francis Medical Center and maintain staff privileges at Connecticut Children's Medical Center.
