The Keene Pumpkin Festival is one of the most unique events held in New England around Halloween. Ever since the early 1990s, people have been turning out en masse in Keene, New Hampshire and assembling tens of thousands of jack o’ lanterns in an attempt to surpass previously held world records (of which the festival has held in the past). The festival has developed into a large-scale event, with thousands of participants attending to enjoy musical concerts, lots of pumpkin-oriented food and drinks, games, rides, and family entertainment.
