Simsbury Bank Announces Promotions in Two Key Positions.

SIMSBURY, CT. – October 8, 2014 – Simsbury Bank is pleased to announce promotions in two key positions.

Joan Beresford has been elected by the Board of Directors to Senior Vice President. Ms. Beresford is responsible for all aspects of Simsbury Bank’s loan servicing unit and is part of the Bank’s executive leadership team. She joined Simsbury Bank in 2010. With over 30 years of experience in residential and commercial loan servicing and collections as well as business process improvement, Ms. Beresford continues to bring a wealth of experience to the Bank’s mortgage lending growth. Ms. Beresford is a past president of the Connecticut Mortgage Bankers Association.

David Donofrio has been elected by the Board of Directors to Senior Vice President of Loan Operations. Previously he was Vice President and Secondary Market Manager for the Bank. Mr. Donofrio joined Simsbury Bank in 2013 and has over 20 years of management experience in Retail Operations, Wholesale Lending and Secondary Marketing. As Senior Vice President, Mr. Donofrio will oversee Simsbury Bank’s Mortgage and Consumer Loan Operations and the Wholesale Origination Channel. He will continue to handle his existing mortgage Secondary Market activities and become a member of the Bank’s executive management team.
