Town of Granby Announces New Library Director
Kathleen Marszycki takes over for Joan Fox, who served as director for 30 years.

The town of Granby has appointed Kathleen Marszycki as the new Director of Library Services; she will begin her duties in Granby on Feb. 21.
Marszycki was selected from a list of some 30 applicants. She will be responsible for both the and the in North Granby.

Marszycki will be taking over as Director of Library Services for Joan Fox, who is retiring after 30 years of service.
Marszycki comes to Granby with a great deal of experience, including having worked as an Adjunct Instructor at Middlesex Community College and at Trinity College. She has also served as an Administrative Coordinator at Trinity College Library, and as a part-time Reference Librarian at the Simsbury Public Library. Her most recent position was as Library Director at Rathbun Free Memorial Library in East Haddam.

She holds a B.S. degree from Post College, and an M.A. from Trinity College, and a Masters of Library Science from Southern CT State University.
