Viewfinder: Granby Girls Soccer Ousts SMSA, Boys Roll

Both teams combined for 12 goals, while allowing none, in two shutout victories over SMSA.

The attached pictures are from the Granby Memorial High girls soccer game against SMSA on Thursday afternoon, which the Bears won 5-0.

Gabby Dixon scored twice, while Kristen Forbes, Lauren Pardee and Kristen Forgue also tallied to help the Bears remain undefeated with an 11-0-1 record.

The boys’ soccer team also fared well, defeating their SMSA counterparts 7-0. Mike Noyes and Dan Clark each scored twice, while Billy Arnone, Peter Brodeur and Tom Bartoes all added one apiece as Granby improved to 7-3-3 on the year.

The Granby girls next travels to Ellington on Monday in a 3:45 p.m. game., while the boys are set to face Stafford.
