[Viewfinder] Granby Girls Soccer Rout North Branford in Class M Tourney
The Bears will face Suffield in the state tournament quarterfinals; it's the third time the teams have met this year.

With its 3-0 thrashing of North Branford at home Saturday, the girls soccer team set up a mouth-watering quarterfinal match in the state Class M tournament against NCCC archrival Suffield.
Gabby Dixon continued her storybook season, scoring two goals against North Branford, while Michele Guttermuth added another for Granby, the NCCC champion that had a first-round bye.

The third-seeded Bears (15-0-1) will face the 10th-seeded Wildcats (14-3-1), who are two-time Class M defending champions, on Tuesday, Nov. 15, in Granby.
Suffield advanced to the quarterfinals with an 8-0 victory over No. 23 Plainfield in the first round and a 2-1 win over No. 7 Laurelton Hall in the second.

Granby has won both meetings against the Wildcats this year, including a 2-1 victory at Suffield on Oct. 5 and a 1-0 win in Granby on Oct. 28 in what turned out to be both teams' regular season finale.
