Woodbury’s Fireman Carnival! The weekend of Labor Day, Woodbury celebrates our volunteer firefighters with a spectacular firework display! This year, as always we are going to be hosting the carnival at the Hollow Park, where we will be setting off fireworks at nightfall.
North End Farmers Market in Middletown. The North End Farmers Market on Main St, Middletown, runs on Fridays from 10-2 during the summer and fall. There is a great selection of CT Grown and Organic produce and products and every week we feature a guest restaurant and a guest vendor.
West End Farmers Market. Head to the West End Farmers Market in Hartford for delicious, fresh and locally grown food! It’s a fun way to spend some time with your kids and they’ll be delighted to meet a farmer or two!
Open Play at The Bright Spot in Vernon! Head to Vernon for a fun Open Play with your kids at The Bright Spot! They’ll have fun, you’ll have fun - it’s a win win!

Family Fun Days at Old Sturbridge Village! Bring the whole family and celebrate Labor Day Weekend at Old Sturbridge Village with games, crafts, vintage baseball, hands on activities, shows and MORE!
Goshen Fair. The Goshen Agricultural Society proudly celebrates the 102nd Goshen Fair. Some of the new additions for 2014 include a larger sled for the Truck Pulls and a Freestyle Motor Cross Show by Eastern Action Sports.
7th annual BLUES, VIEWS & BBQ FESTIVAL at Levitt Pavilion for the Performing Arts. Music fans can take advantage of the addition of the premium “All Access Pass” to the Levitt Pavilion for the Performing Arts to experience hours of top-quality, national Blues, Rock, and Funk bands.
Summer Movie Night at the Southington Drive In: The Lion King. Head to Southington and visit one of only 3 drive-in theaters left in Connecticut! Gates open at 6 p.m. Movies begin at sunset. $10 a carload for Southington residents; $15 a carload for non-residents.

Animal Demonstrations at The Children’s Museum in West Hartford. Bring your kids to the Wildlife Sanctuary and the Main Exhibit Hall at the Children’s Museum in West Hartford for live animal demonstrations!
Dinosaurs: Giants of Patagonia 3D at the Connecticut Science Center. Travel back in time to see dinosaurs come to life! Meet the plant-eating Argentinosaur, the largest animal to have ever walked the Earth, and its nemesis, the Giganotosaur, a carnivore who could easily challenge the famous T-rex.

US Coast Guard Band Labor Day Concert at Fort Trumbull State Park. The United States Coast Guard Band performs at the historic Fort Trumbull State Park with a vigorous program including Tchaikovsky’s 1812 Overture with a cannon fire!!
