West Granby's Aaron Belletsky to Perform With Future Musicians All-State Concert Band
St. Mary's School student will play trumpet at concert, which will take place on March 24.

The 2012 CT Future Musicians All-State Band Program will be presenting a concert on Saturday, March 24, at Central Connecticut State University in New Britain. Approximately 300 student musicians, representing 54 elementary and middle school parochial schools in the Archdiocese of Hartford, the Diocese of Norwich and the Diocese of Bridgeport will be performing. Please contact Jill Hernandez (Future Musicians All-State Coordinator) for the purchase of tickets. Tickets will be available at the door.
The concert will feature students in the All-State Gala Band, the youngest All-State Group. Musicians in the Gala Band were nominated by the school band directors. The concert will also feature the All-State Jazz, Flute Choir, Concert and Symphonic Bands. Students in these groups were selected, by audition, and represent some of the top musicians in the Future Musicians Band Program.
Aaron Belletsky of West Granby from St. Mary’s School (Simsbury) will be performing on trumpet as a member of the Future Musicians All-State Concert Band.

Guest conductor for the Symphonic Band will be Gary Partridge, an accomplished musician and retired instrumental music teacher from Renbrook School, West Hartford. Future Musicians band directors will also be conducting in the concert. The Future Musicians All-State Symphonic and Concert Band will also be performing on Monday, April 30 on he Plaza at Lincoln Center, New York City, 1 p.m. The All-State Jazz Band will be performing on Friday, May 25 at 12 p.m. on the lawn of the Old State House, Hartford.
