Who is East Granby's Top Dog?

The following is a press release from the town of East Granby:

If you think your dog deserves to be East Granby’s #1 dog, bring or mail a photo of your dog, including your dog’s name, age and breed to: East Granby Town Clerk, 9 Center St., P.O. Box TC, East Granby, CT 06026.  Include your name, address and phone number on each entry.

The #1 dog will be chosen by the seniors during their May 18 BBQ luncheon and will be given the honor of wearing the #1 dog tag for 2012 – free of charge. All entries must be received by April 30.  (Qualifying dogs must be presently licensed if age six months or older and have a valid rabies vaccination).

Pictures will be displayed in the Town Clerk’s office during the month of June.  

Dog licenses go on sale June 1. Owners will be sent a reminder notice in May. The cost is $8 for altered dogs and $19 for unaltered dogs.
