Wife of Recently Resigned Granby Principal Pens Editorial

Alison Foley, the wife of former Granby Memorial Middle School Principal Mark Foley wrote an editorial in the Hartford Courant about how her husband has been unfairly treated after his hobby of making horror movies was revealed.

She wrote about how she first met her husband when they were teachers at an inner-city school in Boston and that he was driven to accomplish a lot in the field of education.

She also said her husband came to her months ago and said he was going to give-up the hobby and that he hadn’t filmed a single movie during his time as the principal of Granby Memorial Middle School.

Mark Foley resigned last week, citing that the distraction caused by media attention to his involvement in Moongoyle Entertainment was too much.

The company made three full-length and two short movies and all told there is only three minutes of nudity among all of them, Alison Foley wrote.
