
Thursday night's dusting was just a prelude to a larger storm which is forecast to coat the region with 4-8 inches of snow.
A winter weather advisory takes effect beginning at 2 a.m., with snow continuing throughout Saturday. High temperatures are forecast to reach only 25° on Saturday, so melting is unlikely. North winds at 5-10 miles per hour are expected.
The wrestling match scheduled for Saturday has already been canceled.

According to a press release, the Department of Motor Vehicles is canceling all branch office road tests for Saturday, Jan. 21 "due to expected inclement weather and poor road conditions."
Granby's Department of Public Works Director James Klase said that he doesn't expect anything out of the ordinary with respect to the possible snowfall and that drivers should use common sense.
