It's been four-and-a-half months after Hurricane Sandy ripped up the Eastern Seaboard and devastated enormous swaths of New York, Long Island, New Jersey and Connecticut.

As Daylight Saving Time this weekend reminded us, summer is right around the corner. The shoreline is still recovering from the brutal storm.
