Zoning Commission Member Resigns His Post
Paul Lambert will be replaced by Republican candidate Mark Lockwood.

Granby Town Planning and Zoning Commission member Paul Lambert has resigned his post just shy of the end of his term, Chairman Paula Johnson announced at the most recent meeting.
Lambert left the commission because a class he was taking conflicted with meetings.
Community Development Director Fran Amarentano applauded Lambert's service.
"I think he did a wonderful job for this community and the citizens of this town ought to be proud of the years of service he gave," Amarentano said.
Lambert was replaced by Republican candidate Mark Lockwood, who is running for the post in the November election.
Lockwood said he also thanked Lambert for his service and that he looks forward to continuing on in his role.
