"Recent history has told us that following holiday breaks, positive cases trend up," said GPS spokesperson Jonathan Supranowitz. "As we have now moved into December and temperatures drop, we are reminding our families and staff to continue completing the COVID-19 Symptom Self Checklist each morning and to stay home if they exhibit symptoms. While positive cases are trending upward in the Greenwich community, everyone at GPS is doing their best to keep children safely in school."

There are currently 32 active cases affecting 11 schools. Greenwich High School has the most active cases with seven. Windrose, New Lebanon School and Glenville School are the only schools in the district without an active case, as of Tuesday afternoon.
