2nd Season At Tod's Point Sailing School Begins May 27
Residents of all ages can expect another great program for 2023.

GREENWICH, CT — Memorial Day Weekend is almost here, and so is the second season at Tod's Point Sailing School.
Residents can expect another great program for 2023, which includes junior and adult learn-to-sail courses and several specialty courses featuring Catamaran sailing, paddle craft and racing techniques.
Attendees can practice the skills learned in classes or enjoy time out on the water. The sailing school's entire fleet of sailboats, kayaks and paddle boards are available for rent, and private lessons are also available.

There is no membership requirement and no need to own a boat. Patrons can pay as they go, without any ongoing obligation or long-term commitment.
Tod's Point Sailing School was started by volunteers Bill King and John Kantor. The two stepped in after Greenwich Community Sailing left town almost two years ago.

King and Kantor actually started Greenwich Community Sailing at Tod's Point in 1998 under the stewardship of Longshore Sailing based in Westport, which Kantor ran for several decades. In 2017, Kantor sold Longshore, and GCS continued operating in town until fall 2021.
