5 New COVID-19 Cases Reported In Greenwich Public Schools

The school district updates its COVID-10 tracker every Tuesday and Friday.

GREENWICH, CT — COVID-19 cases within Greenwich Public Schools continue to remain low, as five new cases were reported since last week, according to the district's COVID-19 tracker. Numbers are updated every Tuesday and Friday.

Overall, there are nine active cases currently affecting seven schools around town. Central Middle School, Eastern Middle School, New Lebanon School, and Western Middle School each have one case. Parkway School and North Street School each have two.

Of the nine active cases, four can be traced to coming from outside activities or family; five are undetermined.

Of the 85 overall cases since the school year began on Sept. 1, 45 are traced to outside school facilities. Twenty-eight are undetermined, and just three have been attributed to in-school transmission.

Weekly cases have remained in the single digits now since the week of Sept. 26.
