A Nor'easter moved well to the south of us this morning but in its wake it left dangerous wind gusts and a concern about the potential for fire spread this afternoon and Thursday, according to the National Weather Service.

The entire state is under Hazardous Weather Outlooks, Special Weather Statements and a Wind Advisory for this afternoon. The good news is that it will be sunny and warm this afternoon but winds could gust up to 50 mph, which could lead to power outages, the National Weather Service says.

Another storm is expected on Friday with heavy rain predicted and about an inch of rain. The good news is that the rain should end early Saturday morning and overall it will be a sunny and pleasant weather weekend.
