GREENWICH, CT — Just across from Binney Park on the front lawn of First Congregational Church of Greenwich, the 55th Annual Christmas Tree & Wreath Sale will get underway on Saturday, Nov. 27 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

All proceeds raised through the sale with be given to six local charities that are serving families in this time of critical need. The charities include Kids in Crisis, the Young Adults Program at Pacific House, Fund for New Covenant Center, Mothers for Others, Community Centers, Inc. and Building One Community.

"Local agencies are still experiencing higher demand for their services, as well as increased financial needs,” said event Chair Lauren Ghaffari in a news release. "The fresh cut trees, beautiful wreaths and roping will be enjoyed for the season but are actually gifts that keep on giving long after the holidays are over."
