Greenwich Suitcase Murder: Accused Killer Seeks Plea Deal

Defense attorneys and prosecutors reportedly have held discussions.

GREENWICH, CT — Defense attorneys for the accused killer of Valerie Reyes have held discussions with prosecutors that may lead to a plea deal, writes the Greenwich Time.

Javier Enrique Da Silva Rojas (known as Javier Da Silva) is accusing of killing the 24-year-old New Rochelle woman, whose bound and gagged body was found inside a suitcase on the side of Glenville Road in Greenwich on Feb. 5.

Details of the discussions have not been disclosed, but prosecutors have been granted leeway until early May to reach a deal, according to the publication. If a deal is reached, there would not be a trial.
