GREENWICH, CT — Greenwich Public Schools has released an update on summer happenings at the Central Middle School construction site. Notably, the start of demolition of the existing CMS building is listed under "July Look-Ahead."
District spokesperson Jonathan Supranowitz told Patch this week that an exact start date is still to be determined.
The new 125,000-square-foot building is being constructed in two phases just north of the current school.
Currently in phase one, the new building is slated to open to students and staff in August, the latest update says.
Here's a complete list of work completed in May and a look at work slated to take place over the next three months, according to the district. Work is weather-dependent.
