Boat Rescued After Power Failure: Greenwich Police
The boat lost power and went into shallow water, police said.

GREENWICH, CT — The Greenwich Police Marine Division helped rescue a boat on Sunday after it lost power off Greenwich, police said.
Lt. Martin O'Reilly said the boat had a problem with its battery, and went into shallow water. The Marine Division responded, but couldn't get near because of the water depth. A tow unit was called, and O'Reilly said a smaller boat was used to get closer and assist with towing to bring the vessel back to its dock. No injuries were reported.
O'Reilly praised the Marine Division for acting quickly.
