COVID-19 Cases Holding Steady In Greenwich Public Schools: Tracker

Twenty-two cases were reported on Tuesday, and another 22 were reported April 1, according to the district's COVID-19 tracker.

GREENWICH, CT — COVID-19 case totals are holding steady throughout the Greenwich Public Schools District, according to the latest update.

Forty-four cases were reported this week — 22 on Tuesday, and another 22 on Friday. The district's COVID-19 tracker gets updated twice per week. Last week, there were 18 cases reported on March 22, and 21 on March 25.

The district's COVID-19 case tracker currently shows 29 active cases, affecting 22 students, four teachers, two service providers and an administrator.

The cases are spread out around 10 schools. Riverside has the most with five cases. Since the school year began on Sept. 1, there have been 2,292 COVID-19 cases in the GPS District.

Connecticut's infection rate increased to 3.95 percent recently, but the number of hospitalizations decreased by 10 to 88, according to state officials.
