CT Meteorologist Gil Simmons Back Home Following Serious Health Scare
The popular WTNH-TV weather forecaster was hospitalized on July 5.

Connecticut meteorologist Gil Simmons, who was hospitalized on July 5 for an undisclosed health issue, is back home recuperating, according to a Saturday post on his Facebook page.
"Thanks to your prayers & support, I'm home!" wrote Simmons. "Still some healing & recovery to go."
Simmons has received thousands of get-well-soon wishes on Facebook from his legion of fans around the state.

He has not announced when he will return to the WTNH-TV airwaves, but concerned fans are telling him that as much as they miss him, he should take his time and fully recover before returning.
"So glad to hear you are home, please take the time to recover fully before rushing back to doing too much," wrote Lucy Mastriano, in a sentiment shared by many. "As much as I miss you in the mornings I would rather you heal and take care of yourself....best wishes, positive thoughts and healing prayers."
