President Barack Obama reportedly has Connecticut in his sights — specifically, Greenwich.

The president has spent part of this week in New York City, addressing the United Nations General Assembly. And now he’s apparently penciled in on his calendar, plans to come to backcountry Greenwich for an Oct. 7 fundraiser for the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee, according to Hearst Connecticut Media Group.

Tickets for the opportunity to rub elbows with POTUS at the estate of Richard and Ellen Schapps Richman in the gated Conyers Farm community, start at $10,000, according to the report. The Richmans hosted a $30,000 a plate benefit for Obama back in 2010.
