Details Announced For Greenwich's MLK Jr. Celebration
The public is invited to honor Dr. King's legacy and what he stood for.

GREENWICH, CT — Greenwich will hold its first-ever town-run celebration of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., on Tuesday, Jan. 16.
The event will begin at 10:30 a.m., in the Town Hall Meeting Room. The Rev. Dr. Thomas Nins, senior pastor at First Baptist Church in Greenwich, will be the main speaker.
Former town employee Ruby Durant will sing two songs, and students from Old Greenwich School will be in attendance as well.

Martin Luther King Jr. Day is Monday, Jan. 15. Town Hall will be closed and open for regular business hours at 8 a.m. on Jan. 16.
