About Generator Field Service Technician
- Work on full line of Generac & Kholer Air Cooled, Natural Gas, Propane Stand-By Generators
- Install, troubleshoot, maintain, and repair equipment ( Primarily generators), which may include electronics, fuel equipment, and others. Travel to customers and businesses to repair and install equipment. Must work well independently with little supervision, as well as in a group setting.
- A typical day for a field technician consists of engine tune ups, replacing air and oil filters, changing oil, checking batteries, resetting controllers. Prospective employee must have Working Knowledge, and demonstrate ability to complete these daily tasks.
- Must have valid drivers license
- Automotive/Electrical experience preferred
- Training will be provided
- must be able to work in US without sponsorship
- Ultimately all Field technicians report to service manager.
