Driving Without Headlights Leads to Motorist's DUI Arrest
Greenwich Police say the driver was seen driving without headlights on Sound Beach Avenue.

Greenwich Police arrested a female driver on a driving under the influence charge after officers on Sound Beach Avenue in Old Greenwich saw her driving without her headlights turned on.
When police stopped the driver on Sound Beach, near Cherry Lane, officers said the woman had red, glassy eyes and an odor of alcohol on her breath, according to a police report. The woman also failed field sobriety tests, according to the report.
In addition to the DUI charge, Maxine J. Kabolowsky, 56, of New York City, was ticketed for operating a motor vehicle without headlights in connection with the 8:30 p.m. incident on Feb. 26. Kabolowsky was released after posting a $250 bond. She is scheduled to appear March 12 in state Superior Court in Stamford.
