Drunk Man Found In Yacht Club Freezer: Greenwich PD
The incident occurred just after midnight on Oct. 15.

GREENWICH, CT — A 21-year-old intoxicated Stamford man, who police said had been dropped off on Steamboat Road in Greenwich just after midnight Oct. 15, was found a short while later inside the walk-in freezer at the Indian Harbor Yacht Club.
Nigel G. Teelan, of Long Ridge Road, was arrested on a charge of second-degree criminal mischief at about 12:15 a.m. Greenwich police officers had been called to the area by some fishermen who saw Teelan get dropped off and noticed that he appeared to be quite drunk.
"Upon arrival officers were advised the male may have gone into the Indian Harbor Yacht Club property," police said in a statement. "Officers located the male inside the yacht club standing in a walk-in freezer."

Police did not say if Teelan tried to take anything, but he was immediately taken into custody and held in lieu of a $1,000 bond. He is scheduled to appear Oct. 30 in Stamford Superior Court.
