3-on-3 Hockey Jamboree
Hockey Jamboree Scheduled for March 3rd at
Boys & Girls Club of Greenwich
One of the most successful goaltenders in history to lead the ’94 New York Rangers to the Stanley Cup, Mike Richter, is proud
to be a part of the Hockey Jamboree taking place this Saturday, March 3rd. While participants won’t get a chance to try and score off the legend, they will have the opportunity to say they got the
chance to play with one of the greatest athletes of all time.

This year’s two day event will feature a live performance by The Zambonis, Connecticut’s own indie “hockey” rock band set to release their new record, Five Minute Major (In D Minor). Dave Schneider (guitar, bass, vocals) says of
the band’s musical style, “We’re the only band in the world whose two biggest influences are The Beatles and Wayne Gretzky.”
Funds raised from the event will be applied in support of the Club’s activities and programs for kids ages 6-18. The mission of the Club is to provide a fun and safe place for kids to learn and develop. It enables young people, especially those who need it most, to reach their full potential as productive, caring, responsible citizens.
