IMG Academies Soccer Skills Combine (Boys)

IMG Academies to hold soccer skills combine in Westchester County, New York, June 23-24

Bradenton, Fla. (May 22, 2012) – IMG Academies will be holding a soccer skills combine hosted by FC Transylvania Soccer Club at Pleasantville High School in Westchester County, New York, June 23-24.  Registration is open to all boys and girls soccer players between the ages of 10-18. The combine offers technical and competitive skill evaluation, with performance clinics from some of the world's top coaches.

“We’re really excited to bring the world-class coaches, performance experts, and comprehensive training methodology we use at IMG to New York,” said Scott Dean, director of IMG’s soccer program. “We’re especially looking forward to holding this event in such a talent-rich area, affording us the opportunity to work with dedicated players of all ages.”

The combine will feature an evaluation session and a full-day of training (boys on Saturday, girls on Sunday, for age groups 10-12, 13-14, 15-16 and 17-18). Participants will receive lunch and a gift bag that will include an Under Armour training shirt, access to start a free recruiting profile powered by NCSA Athletic Recruiting, and Gatorade G Series products. One lucky participant may have the opportunity to earn a free week of training at IMG Academies.

The cost to register is $74 if you register before June 1, and $99 thereafter.

The skills combine is the latest in a series of events recently announced by IMG Academies, including a winning bid to host the USL Super-Y and Super 20 North American Finals for the next three years. IMG will also host the Antiguan Men’s National Team in May as they prepare for their World Cup qualifier against the U.S. Earlier this spring, IMG played host to the U.S. Women’s National Team as they prepped for the 2012 Olympics.
