Pancreatic Cancer Research Walk

Please join us as walker, volunteer, and/or donor on Sunday, April 22nd for the 3rd Annual Westchester Pancreatic Cancer Research Walk at Rye Town Park.

The walk was created in memory of Gigi Shanes-Hernandez, who died of pancreatic cancer at 52 years young on April 9, 2009. Gigi was an advocate for others who dedicated her adult life to caring and advocating for children and adults with disabilities, including as a Special Education Teaching Assistant in Greenwich.

All donations will go to the Lustgarten Foundation, the country’s largest private supporter of pancreatic cancer research, where 100% of every donation goes directly to research. www.lustgarten.org Lustgarten Foundation Events serve as a wonderful celebration of the progress being made in the fight against this disease, and your important participation provides hope for the future.
