Eversource To Temporarily Cut Power To Section Of Greenwich

The power is slated to be off for two to three hours, according to town officials.

GREENWICH, CT — To continue with utility recovery after Friday's nor'easter, Eversource will temporarily cut power to the Zaccheus Mead Lane area on Monday afternoon, according to a post on the Greenwich Dispatch Center's Twitter page.

Power is expected to be off for two to three hours, according to officials. As of 3:47 p.m. on Monday, about 900 of the utility company's Greenwich customers remained without power.

About two dozen roads in Greenwich remain all or partially closed on Monday afternoon, as crews deal with downed trees and wires.
