Flag Raising Ceremony In Greenwich Friday For Mexican Independence Day
The event will take place at Greenwich Town Hall.

GREENWICH, CT — A flag raising ceremony will be held at Greenwich Town Hall at 10 a.m. on Friday, Sept. 15, in honor of Mexican Independence Day, organizers announced. The event marks the first time Greenwich has held such a ceremony.
Greenwich First Selectman Peter Tesei is scheduled to speak, and tenor Robert A. Genna is slated to sing the Mexican National Anthem. Additionally, a designate from the Mexican Consulate in New York is also scheduled to attend and address the gathering.
Friday's event is free and open to the public.
