Got Game? 8th Annual Corporate Basketball Challenge

The Boys & Girls Club Greenwich will host their 8th annual Corporate Basketball Challenge and basketball workshop on April 23.


The Boys & Girls Club of Greenwich is hosting its 8th annual 3-on-3 Corporate Basketball Challenge on Wednesday, April 23, at 5 p.m. 

Thirty-two teams, comprised of basketball enthusiasts and kid supporters from Fairfield County and New York corporations, will play in the tournament and fundraiser to benefit the Club’s programs. The winning team will receive the championship title and trophy. Last year’s Champions represented Jones Trading. 

The event will be at the BGCG headquarters, 4 Horseneck Ln.

Gail Goodrich, NBA superstar from the '70s will give the opening remarks and to kick off the tournament Phaethon Bolton, Club Alumnus and former Wake Forest Division 1 basketball player, now businessman, will kick off the 3 on 3 with a free basketball clinic for 25 Club members ages 8 and older. Kids will learn how to dribble, shoot and pass.

The Basketball Clinic with Bolton will be held 3:30 to 4:30 p.m. and the Corporate Tournament starts at 5 o'clock.
