Greenwich Alternative High School Gets New Name, Career Focus: Report
The Riverside Avenue school is "a structured program that fosters the academic, social/emotional and personal growth" of some 9-12 students.

GREENWICH, CT — The Greenwich Alternative High School will be renamed next year to Windrose School and will launch a host of new programs and courses, following a new initiative recently approved by the town's Board of Education, reports the Greenwich Time.
The moves are part of a new direction for the school, which is seeking to offer a more career-focused curriculum. It is also looking to shed the perception that it is an alternative high school for struggling students.
Currently, the school only has 24 students enrolled, a more than 80 percent drop over the past five years, and as such, the board is attempting to revive it.
