GREENWICH, CT — The Greenwich Board of Estimate and Taxation is scheduled to meet on Tuesday, April 4, for an all-day session known as "Decision Day."
The finance board will consider changes to the proposed 2023-24 municipal budget, and will vote to send a final spending plan to the Representative Town Meeting.
Decision Day will begin at 9 a.m., from the Greenwich Town Hall Meeting Room on Tuesday, and members of the public are allowed to watch in person. The meeting will also be live-streamed on Greenwich Community Television’s YouTube channel, and on Cablevision and Fios.

The meeting will not be a public hearing, and the public will not be recognized to speak. The BET held a public hearing last week on the proposed fiscal year 2024 budget, and many residents pleaded for more funding for Greenwich public schools.
Following the BET's vote on the budget, the RTM will consider the spending plan during its May meeting. The RTM can only make cuts, and cannot add any funds.
