The single most pressing issue facing our town/district is _______, and this is what I intend to do about it.

We are at a complex crossroad, where the state of CT's financial issues are increasingly impacting Greenwich, at a time when we are also faced with significant school, civic and environmental expenditures in town.

These realities require careful prioritization and creative solutions in order to keep property taxes affordable for all current residents and the next generation. Significant changes in property taxes directly affect property values and that is a concern for homeowners and businesses.

What are the critical differences between you and the other candidates seeking this post?

No doubt, all of the RTM candidates care deeply for the town and bring many talents to the table. I hope to use my financial background, familiarity with budgeting and financing, as well as my professional knowledge of Greenwich to make fiscally responsible and insightful recommendations within the RTM and town committees.

List other issues that define your campaign platform:

We are fortunate to live in a community with exceptional community pride, deep talent and philanthropy. I support well planned, public/private partnerships, as proven by our new Byram pool and the town party. I believe there is tremendous opportunity/benefit from this type of community-building engagement.

The best advice ever shared with me was...

Talent wins games, teamwork wins championships.

What else would you like voters to know about yourself and your positions?

I support having FS/Town Hall provide updates to residents (via email) on progress toward key organizational, financial and project goals. This type of periodic report card raises the level of accountability and allows residents to be more directly informed.
