Greenwich Fire Department Fights 2 Fires In As Many Days

The Greenwich Fire Department and volunteer units responded to fires in the Glenville and Round Hill areas over the last two days.

GREENWICH, CT — It's been a busy holiday week for Greenwich firefighters.

On Wednesday night, fire crews responded to Glenville on a report of a fire in the attic of a two-story, single family home.

Companies were able to work quickly to ventilate the roof from above, and firefighters were able to access the fire in the attic through the ceiling of the second floor, according to a Facebook post from the GFD.
