Greenwich Fire Department To Hold Promotional Ceremony

GREENWICH, CT — Greenwich Firefighter John Kiernan will be promoted to the department's Fire Marshal's Office in January, officials announced.

A promotional ceremony to mark his new rank will be held at 11 a.m. on Jan. 2 at the department's Central Station on Havemeyer Place.

Kiernan's ceremony is the second the department will hold in less than a month, following the December promotion of Christopher Pratico from deputy fire marshal to fire marshal.
