Greenwich High Grad Is Named White House Communications Director
Jen Psaki who worked on President Obama's presidential campaigns will assume the post in April.

Greenwich High School graduate Jen Psaki who has been the spokeswoman for the U.S. State Department has been tapped to become the new communications director for President Barack Obama.
Psaki, who graduated Greenwich High School in 1996, will assume her new White House duties April 1, according to a Washington Times report.
Psaki, 36, has worked with Obama since 2007 when she was his press spokesman during his first presidential campaign and returned to that role for his 2012 reelection campaign.

Commenting on her promotion, Psaki posted on Twitter on Thursday, “Honored to be rejoining the team @WhiteHouse in April, exciting two years for@BarackObama ahead. Wil miss incredible colleagues @StateDept.”
