Greenwich High Lockdown: Investigators Following Leads

Police are attempting to get to the bottom of who is responsible.

GREENWICH, CT — Detectives are conducting an extensive investigation to get to the bottom of who was responsible for the threatening note that sent Greenwich High School into a massive lockdown earlier this week.

The person responsible could be facing serious felony charges, according to the Greenwich Time.

A threatening message that mentioned a specific time and place was found in a bathroom.

Police are reviewing video footage, interviewing students and monitoring social media as part of the investigation.

A total of 44 officers were detailed to the high school and the personnel costs are expected to be significant for the event.
