Greenwich Hospital, Sportscaster Ed Randall Partner for Free Prostate Cancer Screening

September is Prostate Cancer Awareness Month.

From Greenwich Hospital.

For the fifth consecutive year, Greenwich Hospital is partnering with sports broadcaster Ed Randall and his “Fans for the Cure” charity to offer free prostate cancer screenings to men between the ages of 40 and 75 during Prostate Cancer Awareness Month.

According to the American Cancer Society, approximately 233,000 new cases of prostate cancer will be diagnosed in 2014, and approximately 29,000 men will die of the disease. Early detection and treatment of the disease can save lives – a message prostate cancer survivor Randall has taken to men across the nation through events like the one being offered at Greenwich Hospital this month.
