Greenwich HS Boys Lose 1st Round in State Tourney

The boys basketball team suffered an 80-65 loss to No. 10 seed Manchester on Tuesday in the first round of the Class LL state tournament.
While the 23rd-seeded Cardinals struggled down the stretch, losing five of their final six games, they still clinched a winning season at 11-10 after going 4-16 last year.
The seven-game improvement stilll was one of the best turnarounds in the state.
