Thegirls basketball team tries for its second win of the young season on Friday when the Cardinals host Danbury at 5:30 p.m.
Greenwich defeated Fairfield Warde 49-47 in overtime on Wednesday to give Chrys Hernandez a victory in her coaching debut.

Caroline Barrett scored 17 points and Jenny Cespedes added 10 for Greenwich, which is looking to improve upon last season's 5-15 record.
The Cardinals could, however, get a tougher test fron Danbury, which was an FCIAC playoff team and rolled to a surprisingly easy 58-28 season-opening win over Norwalk on Wednesday.
