Greenwich Man Arrested for Child Porn Possession: PD

GREENWICH, CT — A local man was charged with possessing 700 images of child pornography on his computer, police said.

Christopher Sandys, 46, is due in court Jan. 20 and bail was set at $300,000, according to the Greenwich Time. He is a Representative Town Meeting Member in the first district.

State Police began an investigation into peer to peer child pornography image and video sharing and a search warrant was executed by Greenwich Police Special Victims Section and the Southwest Technical Investigations Unit Thursday, according to the Greenwich Free Press.
