Greenwich Man Decides To Fall Asleep At Neighbor's House: Cops

The incident occurred Saturday morning, May 13.

GREENWICH, CT — A 33-year-old Greenwich man was arrested on a charge of second-degree criminal trespass Saturday morning after police said he slept at the Richland Road home of a neighbor who didn't know him.

Rafael M. Salcedo-Coyt, who also lists a Richland Road residence as his address, was spotted asleep in the backdoor threshold/kitchen area of the neighbor's home at about 7;30 a.m. when the homeowner called the police.

"The homeowner related that he did not know the this subject and the subject had not been given permission to be within the residence," wrote Greenwich police in a statement.

Salcedo-Coyt was released on a promise to appear in Stamford Superior Court on May 22.
