Greenwich Mom Hauled Off To Jail On Child Abuse Charges: Report
The defendant was taken out of Stamford court in handcuffs.

STAMFORD, CT — A 41-year-old Greenwich mother, already facing charges in connection with a July 2018 alleged child abuse case, was remanded to jail by a judge Friday when he learned about new child abuse allegations against the defendant, reports the Greenwich Time.
Evelyn Stowell was placed in handcuffs and hauled off to jail straight from Stamford Superior Court when Judge Bruce Hudock learned from prosecutors of the new child abuse allegations from this week. Stowell, of Sound Beach Avenue, was allegedly recorded by a neighbor as she yelled vulgarities at one or more of her three children.
Hudock placed a new $100,000 appearance bond on Stowell, who had been out after posting bond on bail of $25,000 in connection with the July incident.
