Greenwich Pair Arrested On Larceny Charges: Police
The two allegedly tried sell a stolen item back to the victim, according to police.
GREENWICH, CT — A pair of Greenwich residents, who were arrested earlier this year in connection with a near-fatal overdose, were arrested on warrants last week charging them with larceny after they allegedly tried to sell a briefcase they stole out of a vehicle back to the owner/victim, according to police.
Robert Wolterstorff, 24, and (Removed), were apprehended on Aug. 17 at the Stag Lane home of the person from whom Wolterstorff allegedly stole the briefcase.
Police said (Removed) allegedly was trying to "return" it for a finder's fee. The victim, realizing that something fishy was taking place, contacted authorities.

According to Greenwich Police Lt. David Nemecek, an investigation into a string of vehicle break-ins in the Old Greenwich area led detectives to identify Wolterstorff as a suspect in several of them.
Wolterstorff was charged with three counts of third-degree burglary and one count fourth-degree larceny, and (Removed) was charged with larceny by receiving stolen property.

He was released after posting a $75,000 bond, and she was released after posting a $35,000 bond. Both are scheduled to appear in Stamford Superior Court on Sept. 1.
